Arusha (Pass by)
Upon arriving at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in the Arusha region, about 647 km north of Dar es Salaam. Though not as developed as Dar es Salaam, Arusha has a charm of its own. 1Tarangire National Park
Your trip will begin early in the morning, departing from Arusha between 05:30 and 06:00. After a two-hour drive, about 140 km, you’ll reach Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant population and beautiful landscapes. Tarangire, Tanzania's sixth largest park, offers a blend of wildlife and cultural richness. During the dry season, the Tarangire River draws herds of elephants and other wildlife like zebras, giraffes, and buffaloes.
