Cooking Class Mix of Turkiye on a Table with Local Couple

This cooking experience takes place in a real Istanbul home, hosted by a local couple who come from different regions of Türkiye and love bringing those flavors together in their kitchen.

You’ll cook alongside them as they guide you through a seasonal Turkish menu. The focus is on stuffed vegetables, often onions depending on the season, a selection of mezes made with eggplant and yogurt, and a traditional Turkish soup. When available, the soup is tarhana, homemade by their families and brought from eastern Türkiye.

The experience is hands-on but easygoing. You’ll help with preparation, learn how these dishes are made at home, and hear how recipes and habits change from region to region. On some days, tour operator's mom joins the experience, adding extra warmth and family knowledge to the cooking.

Once everything is ready, you’ll sit down together to enjoy the meal you’ve prepared. Plates are passed, bread is shared, and conversation flows easily. Guests often arrive curious and leave feeling like they’ve spent the evening with old friends.
