RICE TERRACES

First stop Visit the local market to buy some food, fruits and drink during the tours. It is outdoor market, you can have delicious food there. You can buy what you need during your tour or to have some good pictures for your memories. We will let you to visit for 20 minutes.

Second stop at Local Coffee This local coffee is organic. The owner is Karen hill tribe, he grows the coffee, fire and break by himself. Everything is manual. The taste of the coffee is good. you can drink as much as you can. If you want to buy the coffee beans or coffee powder, you can buy in this shop.

Third stop for lunch and hiking Start hiking to Mae Pan waterfall, it is the highest waterfall in Chiang Mai over 100 meters. The starting point is hard but it's not long way. Hiking about 20 minutes to reach at waterfall. It is located at Doi Inthanon national park. Second waterfall is the way back from the first waterfall, it is beautiful, along the ways is green and full of nature. Third waterfall is where you can refresh yourself above the waterfall. This waterfall is clean water from the mountain. You will be the first one who touch this stream because you are in the highest mountain in Thailand.

There are many rice terraces pictures spots to be visited in the area. Best is to spend the night over in one of the guest house and really take time to visit around. Local accommodations are limited; We will confirm to you again when we find the room for you. if there is no room available for you, we will take you to sleep in the tent. Ban Pa Pong Piang is located about 121 kilometres from Chiang Mai city (2.30 hours’ drive). It is best to get there with a truck as there are no public transportation to the village. This destination is fast becoming popular with Thai tourists, but still little known to foreign visitors. It will soon become one of your best souvenirs from Thailand.

Day 2
Doi Inthanon - The highest mountain in Thailand

Wake up in the morning. It is fresh air and full of foggy under your room. It is time for you to take a deep breath and feel the nature surrounding. We will offer you breakfast there. We will take you to walk in the rice field and learn about the rice culture.

On the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother's 60th Birthday Anniversary in 1992, the Royal Thai Air Force constructed the Stupa of Phra Mahathat, which was presented to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The name is " Phra Mahathat Nabhapolbhumisiri" Meaning " The power of the sky and the virtue of the land. It's 2565 m. high. We will take the car to visit those tween pagodas on the highest mountain in Thailand. This place is respectful for Thai people ( Women must wears in proper suits to respect the King and the Queen)

Second stop Visit Wachirathan Waterfall. This waterfall is the most visited waterfall in Chiang Mai. it is more than one million people visiting per year. It's 70-80 m. high.

Third stop Lunch time. We will order you noodles that you can choose what meat you prefer ( Pok, Beaf, Crocodile ) It is the only shop that is delicious in this area. ( Every thursday is close , we will find another food for you.)
