History come to life with this tour. Visiting two amazing lakes in a single package it's a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Your safari guide knows better the parks than you can ever imagine, with him you will learn so many things about wild, culture and people during the tour.

Lake Natron is a mineral-rich soda lake in northern Tanzania, at the border with Kenya. It's a breeding ground for hundreds of thousands of lesser flamingos, despite the highly alkaline state of the striking red waters. It sits below Ol Doinyo Lengai, a soaring active volcano in the Rift Valley. Trails lead from the lake to the Engero Sero waterfalls, which flow over craggy rocks into a natural pool

    Day 1

    Road trip to Lake Natron

Salt lakes and over 2.5 million Flamingos This day brings you a road trip through northern Tanzania with the destination Lake Natron. You depart from Arusha after breakfast. The drive can take up to 6 hours and it’s the perfect way to see different sides of Tanzania’s ever-changing landscapes. As you pass the Rift Valley and drive further towards Lake Natron, you will notice the lush green vegetation slowly exchanging for dry, arid and dusty landscapes. The occasional Maasai villages passed en route become dots in the distant scenery. The further north you reach, the more remains of old volcanoes rise around you. Among them is Ol Doinyo Lengai, meaning ‘Mountain of God’ in Maasai dialect. This volcano is one of the few that are still active. When you eventually reach Lake Natron, you might perhaps catch its smoke disappearing in the sky. The night is spent in a comfortable bed at Africa Safari Lake Natron. You will have a waterfall walking tour and Flamingo lake walk to end your day

    Serengeti National Park

Today you have a long and rewarding drive ahead of you, as you make your way from Lake Natron, through the plains and into Serengeti National Park. The road will take you through the Maasai homeland, the only tribespeople permitted to live in the Conservation and protected area. Traditionally nomadic, the Maasai people are rich in culture and can often be seen herding their cattle in brightly coloured traditional Maasai robes. They live in complete harmony with the earth, using their long-ingrained family knowledge of plant life as a means for survival. Along the drive, you will be able to spot giraffes, zebras and other animals. Prepare to be amazed when you catch your first glimpse of the endless plains of the Serengeti. When you arrive in entrance gate, you will have already had your first taste of game driving and the 14,000+ square kilometers that make up the wonder that is Serengeti National Park. Here you will spot all the wild animals you have been watching in the movies.
