A spacious and bright studio located diagonally to the right of "Arada Beyrut" Cafe and directly across from "Bloom" Cafe.
What to expect
In this experience, you will learn how to prepare authentic Turkish coffee using traditional equipment and the unique hot sand brewing method. Your instructor will guide you step by step through the process, from understanding the finely ground coffee to controlling the heat, creating the perfect foam, and serving it in the traditional way.
As your coffee slowly brews on hot sand, you will also hear the cultural stories behind Turkish coffee, its role in daily life, and why it has been a symbol of hospitality, friendship, and conversation for centuries.
After preparing your own coffee, you will sit down to enjoy it like a local. The experience continues with a fun introduction to Turkish coffee cup reading, a lighthearted cultural tradition based on symbols, imagination, and storytelling.
This workshop is ideal for travelers who want more than just a coffee tasting. It is a relaxed, interactive, and memorable way to experience Turkish culture in Istanbul.
No previous experience is needed. All materials and equipment are provided.
