As your host, I'll take you on a tour of the world of rum, introducing you to the history and production process of some of the best brands in the Dominican Republic and beyond.
You will learn to identify the subtle differences that distinguish each rum, and have the opportunity to taste and compare a selection of these unique spirits.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pick-up times may vary depending on the hotel where you are staying for the day of the experience, your pick-up time will be confirmed at the time of booking. In the Uvero Alto area we have a minimum pick-up for 4 people. Hours are from 9:35AM to 11:30AM On Wednesdays the tasting will only be available in the afternoon. Pickup from your hotel will depend on your location, hours can vary from 2 : 00 PM to 3 : 15 PM.
What to expect
The package includes rums such as: Cubaney Centenario, Unhiq XO, Opthimus, Punta Cana XOX (or others in this category on request) in crystal glasses; cheese, biscuits and chocolate snacks (70%).
Tasting program:
-History of Rum and the Oliver house;
-Explanation of the process of elaboration of rums, Solera;
-Tasting of cane, sugar cane juice and molasses;
-Rum tasting.
-Transportation roundtrip included.
-Duration: 1.10 hour
