Between Banff and Kananaskis, there are plenty of family-friendly tours and short hikes under 5 km. You can explore stunning ice caves, embark on a thrilling canyon tour, or visit spectacular waterfalls. One highlight is the Heart Creek Trail, a 4.8 km out-and-back route that weaves charmingly over the creek, connecting bridge to bridge with plenty of spots to splash around. Take your time exploring rocky areas and hidden nooks—perfect for a bit of rock climbing or simply soaking in the scenery. Keep an eye out for fellow adventurers and maybe even some local wildlife!
