This small tour of maximum 5 people, allows travelers to understand the basics, of Hinduism and Buddhism as well as the scenario of these religions in Nepal and the religious harmony among the peoples and fusion of the cuisine too.

In Pashupatinath our experienced guide will explain the last rites of Hindus along with 16 Samskaras while in Boudhanath travelers will be familiar with Buddhism and the teachings of lord buddha.

We meet all travellers at Gaushala Bus Stop. Our guide will be there at Gaushala Bus Stop 30 minutes prior to the meeting time. You can use the map provided along with this itinerary and locate the meeting point or Call/WhatsApp in given number.

End point

This tour ends at the Boudhanath Gate. Travelers are free to explore around the Boudhanath or go back to their place.

    Pashupatinath Temple

    Pashupatinath is the oldest Hindu temple of Kathmandu Valley and important among the Hindu devotee around the globe. Only Hindus are allowed inside the main temple, so we pass by towards Aryaghat (crematoria) situated on the bank of Bagmati River. We will go through many shops selling religious items to pilgrims, telling names and importance of them in Hinduism.

    The Crematoria

    Aryaghat, The Crematoria is famous among the tourists as they can see how the last rites of Hindu people are done. Here we will talk about Shodasha Samskaras (16 rites of passage in Hindus life) The concept of Trinity God and basics of Hinduisms, along with stories like how Lord Ganesha got the elephant Head.

    This is a second largest stupa of this kind in the world, famous for Tibetan Buddhism (Vajrayana Buddhism). Here we will Explore the basics of Buddhism like prayers flag and five elements, four noble truth, eightfold paths and thirteen steps to nirvana.

    Here at thanka center/school of thanka painting, we will learn about intricate Thanka art and concept of mandala and learn the basics about healing Bowls. After we finish at this place we will end the tour at Boudha gate which is one block away.
