Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860 meters/9,383 feet). About 4 hours Trek to Phakding (2,610 meters/8,563 feet). This is a relatively easy day to help acclimatize.
Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 meters/11,286 feet). Namche Bazaar is the main trading center of the Khumbu region and provides the first clear view of Mount Everest. Namche is a beautiful settlement with a vibrant atmosphere that you will not expect in a high-altitude place.
Khumjung is a village in Khumbu Pasanglhamu rural municipality of Solukhumbu District in Province No. 1 of north-eastern Nepal. It is located in the Khumbu subregion inside Sagarmatha National Park, a world heritage site.
The trek on this day starts with the scenic sunrise from the guest house in Namche. Finally, you will trek through the beautiful trails before returning to the settlements in Namche. There are challenging stony paths that you need to walk for 4-5 hours before arriving at your destination. The trails you will explore on this day are the same ones you took on your way to the top. Finally, you will arrive at Lukla and then rest for the night.
