Quad biking at the Atlantis Dunes offers a one-of-a-kind adventure through Cape Town’s only true white sand dunes. Just outside the city along the West Coast, this vast, ever-changing landscape features sand dunes rising up to 50 metres high, creating a dramatic desert-like experience unlike anything else nearby.

What to expect

Discover the true white sand dunes of Cape Town with a guided quad biking adventure at the Atlantis Dunes along the beautiful West Coast.

Enjoy a 20-minute guided quad bike ride on a fully automated ATV, plus a 10-minute photo stop, for a total experience of 30 minutes. Our experienced guides ensure a safe, fun ride, and no prior experience is required.

Helmets and all safety equipment are provided.

Each group receives a short safety and instruction briefing before heading onto the dunes. Photo stops are included—bring your phone or camera.

This is a family-friendly experience.
- Children aged 4–12 years are permitted as passengers only when accompanied by an adult. Payment is required for passengers.
- Children aged 13 years and older may ride their own quad only if they have prior riding experience.
- All groups with participants under 18 years of age must include at least one parent or legal guardian riding with the group.
