What to expect

Learn how lobster gear works, how to measure and identify legal-sized lobsters, and why egg-bearing females and undersized lobsters are carefully returned to the ocean. Along the way, you’ll hear stories of the region’s rich fishing heritage, explore how tides and seasons shape the industry, and gain insight into the skills, knowledge, and stewardship that sustain it.

As part of this immersive eco-tourism experience, you’ll also contribute to ongoing citizen science initiatives. Guests help collect and record data that supports sustainable fisheries research and ocean conservation efforts.
