What to expect
Learn how lobster fishing gear works, how to measure and identify lobsters, and why egg-bearing females and undersized lobsters are carefully returned to the sea. Along the way, we’ll share stories of the local fishing heritage, explain how tides and seasons shape the industry, and demonstrate the skills and knowledge it takes to make a living on the water.
As part of this eco-tourism adventure, you’ll also contribute to ongoing citizen science efforts. Guests will help record data supporting sustainable fisheries research and ocean stewardship. After a rewarding morning on the water, you’ll enjoy freshly catered snacks — an authentic taste of the coast and a delicious way to reflect on your time as a lobster fisher for the day.
