The cruise will also pass by the historic Quốc Học High School and the significant statue located in front of the school by the river. This monument, originally named Đài Chiến Sỹ Trận Vong (Monument to the Fallen Soldiers), was built to commemorate French and Vietnamese soldiers from Central Vietnam who fought and lost their lives during World War I (1914–1918). Known in French as "Monument aux Morts," this architectural work stands as a solemn reminder of history, blending cultural heritage with the scenic beauty of the Perfume River.
As the cruise continues along the river, it will pass by the Hue City People's Committee Building (Tòa nhà Ủy ban Nhân dân thành phố Huế), an impressive structure showcasing elegant French colonial architecture.
