Enjoy one of the most amazing shows in Mexico: the migration of the monarch butterfly. Monarch butterflies come from southeastern Canada and northeastern United States and traveling over 2,500 miles to Mexico. The monarch butterflies spend their winter hibernation clustered in small areas of the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve.
In this adventure you will visit the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary in Michoacan, we will start a hike in the mountain to where the monarch butterfly colony is located.
If you prefer ride on horse this option is available, consider the horses only reach the middle of the path, the heaviest part, then you will have to walk for approximately 15 minutes
Later you will enjoy a delicious lunch.
The return to Mexico City is between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm
We can pick you up in hotels located in Reforma Avenue and Polanco. If your hotel is located in other zone you should arrive to our meeting point: Av. Horacio corner with Lamartine street (outside Metro Polanco), Polanco, CDMX.
