Your professional tour guide will meet you at the lobby of your Dunhuang hotel, you need to check out, and depart from your Dunhuang hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to start your 2-day expedition tour.. Visit the Yumen Pass & Great Wall of Han Dynasty, In history, the Han Dynasty built many walls to consolidate the safety of the frontier region as well as exploring ways to do business with western region. Instead of piling up stones or bricks layer upon layer like other dynasties' walls, the Han Dynasty Great Wall is built by using the local sand and weed. These two constructional materials were added by putting one on top of another. We will show to a local farmer's restaurant to taste the local food, you can walk around in the grape garden during the lunch time.

Yangguan Historic Sites
Visit the Yangguan Pass and it's museum, you may learn more history about the ancient Silk Road in the museum. After your tour,continue to Subei Mongolian autonomous region, you will see the grassland , snow mountain on the way, check into a local 3 star hotel upon arrival, dinner will served in a local Mongolian restaurant.

Day 2
Mengke Glacier

Enjoy Chinese breakfast in your hotel, Check out from your hotel. Depart to the glacier,it will take you about 2 hours on the way, you will see the local villages on the way. Change a jeep continue drive for half hour to the glacier when you arrive at the foot of the mountain. The oxygen bag is available to purchase at the ticket office if you need it. The altitude is over 4,000 meters, the highest peak is reach to 5555 meters. You may touch the real ice on the mountain and absorb the breathtaking views. Lunch will provide in the local restaurant of the town. After your tour is finished, take about 2 hours from Subei to Dunhuang, you will be drop-off at your Dunhuang hotel or Dunhuang airport.(Your flight depart time should be after 18:00).
