Magill Estate is one of the Worlds few Urban style vineyards, The Cellar Door, & fine dining Restaurant and Kitchen all offer serene views of Penfolds first vineyard. It’s located just 8kms from Adelaide CBD in the sheltered haunches of the Mounty Lofty Ranges.

Join us on a special anniversary tour to celebrate 175 years of extraordinary winemaking.

Start your journey in 1844 with a visit to our historic Grange cottage, the original home of Dr Christopher and Mary Penfold and finish with a tasting of our commemorative Tribute range in Penfolds original underground tunnels.

    Start your journey in 1844 with a visit to our historic Grange cottage, the original home of Dr Christopher and Mary Penfold and finish with a tasting of our commemorative Tribute range in Penfolds original underground tunnels. Walk through the original working winery, explore the vineyards and uncover the historic tales of the underground drives. To complete the Penfolds experience, a wine tasting at our cellar door is a must. Taste a selection of wines from The Penfolds Collection and the diverse and limited Cellar Reserve range.
