The driver and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby or a meeting point in Ha Giang City (within a 3–5 km radius) between 8:00 – 8:30 AM. The tour guide will contact you in advance to confirm the exact pickup time.
If your accommodation is outside Ha Giang, please make your own way to our office at QT Guest House before 8:30 AM.
If you would like us to arrange a car to pick you up there, an additional charge will apply.
We can also arrange bus transfers from Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba Island, or Sapa one day prior to the tour. This service requires an extra support fee depending on your departure point—please let us know in advance if you need this option.
Night Transfer for Customers from Other Destinations: Guests traveling from Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba, or Sapa to Ha Giang will take an overnight bus and arrive around 3:00 AM. Upon arrival, you can rest at QT Guest House before the tour begins. Heaven’s Gate & Quan Ba Twin Mountains (Fairy Bosom Hills): Stop at the viewpoint for panoramic views over Tam Son Valley - clouds drifting above terraced rice fields.
Lung Khuy Cave: Trek 4 km through limestone formations into a vast chamber of stalactites and crystal-like rock.
Lung Tam Weaving Village (Quan Ba District): Visit a cooperative where Hmong women hand-weave linen and dye fabrics with natural indigo.
Late afternoon - Arrive at Can Ty Village, a peaceful spot surrounded by terraced hills. Take a short walk to see the 250-year-old Lonely Tree, standing tall over the valley. Evening - Enjoy a home-cooked dinner, local rice wine, and warm conversation at your ethnic minority homestay.
Tham Ma Pass: Ride the iconic 9-turn pass, one of the most photographed motorbike routes in the Ha Giang Loop itinerary. Hmong King’s Palace (Vuong Family Mansion): Visit the former residence of the Hmong royal family, a blend of French and Chinese architectural styles, located in Sa Phin Valley.
Lung Cu Flag Tower Ha Giang: Climb to Vietnam’s northernmost point and enjoy panoramic views across the border into China.
Dong Van Old Quarter: Stop for lunch in this historic town within the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark (UNESCO Global Geopark).
Ma Pi Leng Pass motorbike route: Conquer Vietnam’s most famous mountain pass - towering cliffs, emerald peaks, and the winding Nho Que River below.
Nho Que River boat tour (optional): Glide through Tu San Canyon, Southeast Asia’s deepest gorge.
Arrive in Meo Vac Town or stay overnight at Talung Ecolodge. Dinner with live music and a calm mountain evening to end the day.
8:00 AM - One last unforgettable ride through the Northern Loop. Sa Ly Pass: Tackle M-shaped bends surrounded by terraced hills and distant peaks. Duong Thuong Commune (Yen Minh District): Visit a traditional highland village, where stone houses and cornfields define everyday life.
Can Ty Village: Stop for lunch and a rest before the final stretch. Thai An Road: Follow scenic riverside trails through Thuan Hoa Commune, wrapping up your Loop adventure. 4:30 PM - Return to QT Guest House in Ha Giang City. Freshen up, relax, and prepare for your return transfer to Hanoi (depart ~7:30 PM, arrive ~3:00 AM).
