You will spend 2-3hrs at Wanfenglin area, you can use the local shuttle bus and walking around the villages and enjoy the amazing nature view. Wanfenglin (Forest of Ten Thousands Peaks) which is divided into east peak forest and west peak forest with different scenery, and it is a classic Karst landform. Wanfenglin is the important component of national scenic area Maling River Canyon. East peak forest is characterized by Karst peak cluster landform, and west peak forest is highland Karst landform. Due to grand and beautiful scenery and perfect style, Peak Forest has a sense of wonderland. It is as if you steeped into a scroll painting of green-grey peaks and golden fields and you may feel like entering a paradise.

After the lunch at Xingyi city, you will head to Malinghe gorge. The Malinghe Gorges are located in the northeastern part of the scenic area. Falls somersault from the hilltops along the valley and there are various Karst caves behind the falls or in the cliffs. Lush, subtropical plants cover the riversides. The most beautiful part of the gorge is Tian Xing Hua Lang-Heavenly star gallery which is about 2kms long with a average depth of 200 meters, lot of cascades make the grand canyon a stunning picture. We need to walk down to the bottom of the canyon, then walk along the gorge, finally climp up through another gate, the total trip for sightseeing Xian Xing Hua Lang is about 2 and half hours, remember to wear hiking shoes good for walking. Now there is a cable car, you may pay the extra money to take the cable car if you don't want to walk.

Wanfeng Lake Scenic Area is located in the southeast of Xingyi City, capital of Qianxinan Autonomous Prefecture, and in the lower reaches of Maling River. It is a national scenic spot, a national 4A scenic spot and a member of Xingyi National Geopark of the People’s Republic of China. Wanfeng Lake can only be visited by boat. There is no place to go by the lake. You will spend 2hrs on the boat trip and can have a chance to see the" Mini Three Gorges of Yangtze river" and Xinglong Castle.

Huangguoshu Water Falls
Huangguoshu Waterfall, a milky way in miniature, is the largest waterfall in Asia. Seventy-four meters (243 feet) high and eighty-one meters (266 feet) wide, it is a scenic marvel. Do not miss it if you are in Guizhou Province. There are mainly three National Parks in this waterfall national park: Waterfalls Cluster, Water-Curtain Cave and Rhinoceros Pool (Xi Niu Tan). You' first visit the Waterfall-Viewing Pavilion (Guan Pu Ting), where you could see the panorama of the whole waterfall. Then, seen from Water-Viewing Pavilion (Wang shui Ting), we could view the grand scene of surging water. The third one is the Water-Viewing Pavilion (Wang shui Ting) beside the Rhinoceros Pool. The marvelous night scene of the grand waterfall creates lasting impressions.

You first will visit the Dragon Palace Cave (Longong Cave), which is the longest water cave in China. Dragon Palace Cave got its name because it looks like a crystal palace where the "Dragon King" lives. Dragon Palace Cave Scenic Spot has the longest water cave, the widest underground waterfall, the largest Buddhist cave, and lowest natural radiation in China. In 1988, it was approved as a national scenic spot. Covering an area of 60 square kilometers, Dragon Palace Scenic Spot is composed of four parts: the Rape Lake, the Whirlpool, the Leech Pass and the Dragon Palace Cave itself. Dragon Palace Cave includes Heavenly Pool, Dragon Palace, Tiger’s Cave, Longmen Waterfall and other eye-catching landscapes.

Zhijin Cave Scenic Spot is located in Zhijin county, southwest China's Guizhou province. It has four parts: Zhijin Old Town, Zhijin Cave, Jiehe Gorge, and Hongjia Ferry. The Zhijin Cave, also known as Daji Cave (Hit Rooster Cave), is the most attractive and famous. It is one of the biggest Karst caves in China. As you walk along the illuminated gallery that stretches for 13.5km, you can appreciate the most complete Karst terrain. It houses as many as 58 hall-like caves. At 17 meter high, Silver Rain Tree, the most beautiful stalactites, sparkles like a soaring ivory pagoda.

Zhijin Grand Canyon is a typical karst landscape. The karst landscape in Guizhou is generally hard to reserve water flows, and many rivers on the ground permeate into the underground, forming a peculiar phenomenon that the rivers suddenly disappear and reappear on the ground. Before entering the deep canyon, you must cross a cave in which a river lies and rowboats floating on it. The towering cliffs on both sides of the canyon are like two huge barriers, separating the people from the outside world. The skylight, natural bridge, sinkholes, underground rivers, cliffs, ancient Jingu Temple are dizzying. Walking in the canyon, you can clearly hear the chirping of birds that is transmitted much better than that on the ground. After touring the Zhijin Grand Canyon, one can take the elevator straight to the tourist center above the canyon, which is the most energy-saving way. It brings another kind of pleasure to enjoy the scenery of the canyon in the 108-meter-high elevator.

During this day, you first will stop at Qingyan ancient town--It would be no exaggeration to call Qingyan "a stone town". Almost everything is made of stone – houses, walls, roads, archways, stoves and other utilities. Within the town, well-preserved stone-slab lanes and archways testify to its past glory. The ancient town, located 29 kilometers from the city center of Guiyang, is one of the province's four major ancient towns. It has a history of about 600 years and features exquisite buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911).

Zhaoxing DongZhai
Known as the biggest and oldest Dong village in China, Zhaoxing Dong Village is located in Liping county of the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture, southeastern Guizhou. In 2005, it was ranked one of China's six most beautiful villages and towns by Chinese National Geography. It holds over 1,000 households and nearly 6,000 inhabitants. A small river runs through the village, which lies in a basin amidst the green mountains with terraced fields creeping upwards along the slopes. The Dong people inhabit timber-made houses built row upon row on the hillside. The village is also well-known for its five beautiful drum towers, five wind-and-rain (flower) bridges and five theater stages, all scattered across the five villages. A drum tower is a multi-storied pagoda-like wooden structure built without the use of any nails. As a symbol of a Dong village, it is usually the tallest building. It is used as a venue to host special events and ceremonies.

Basha is a very special and old Miao Ethnic village and is virtually untouched in any way by modernization. Basha residents still live in their wooden houses, practice centuries-old customs and have their own unique beliefs. The village is perched on a hill, 5 kilometers from Congjiang. Legends say that Basha's ancestors immigrated from heartland China to this isolated mountainous region over 2,000 years ago.

Next, go to the Zhanli village which is about 16 kilometers away from Congjiang county, Zhanli village serves as a gathering point for the Dong ethnic group, accommodating 836 villagers in 186 households. Ancestors of Zhanli made a rule during the early Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) to achieve balance between the population and the amount of cultivated land. Afterwards,if you want to visit more, we can go Huanggang village, as one of the gatherings of the Dong ethnic people, Huanggang village celebrates many local festivals. The most important two are held on Jan 7 and June 15 of the Chinese lunar calendar. Located in remote mountains, Huanggang continues production and living customs that have lasted for thousands of years.

Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is located at the foot of Leigong Mountain in the northeast of Leishan County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, SW China's Guizhou Province, where a dozen of natural hamlets built on the hills are snugly connected to form the largest settlement of Miao ethnic group in the world, thus a good place to learn the history of Miao people. In the middle of spring, when you look at the tranquil village, it is just like enjoying a cup of mellow spring tea served by the folksy Miao people. With rows of stilted cottages backed by the hills, a clear river winding through and rice leaves waving in the fields around the village, it forms such a beautiful pastoral scenery.

You first will stop visit the Langde miao vilage and Lanhua villages. The Langde Shang Village is located at the foot of a mountain. There are five 'flower roads' leading to the village. Four wood gatehouses, called the 'gate of village', are placed at the eastern, western and northern entrances of the village. Propped up by wooden supports with ladders leading up, row upon row of wood houses makes a picturesque scene.

Next, go to Zhenyuan and stay overnight there. Zhenyuan Ancient Town, a national 5A-level tourist attraction, is seated on the bank of the Wuyang River, surrounded by mountains in Zhenyuan County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, SW China's Guizhou Province. The river winds and crosses the town in an "S" shape. Those mossy stone slabs, black bricks and tiles with slight signs of wear tell stories of the serene town in old times. When night falls, the whole town will be adorned by the lights reflected in the river and everything is so beautiful.

You will first entre the mountain via the east gate and take the cable car to the half way of the hill then hiking up around 30 minutes to reach the mushroom stone area and then you still climbing up to top of the hill of Hong yun jin ding area.
