Upon your flight landing, your local guide will wait you at the arrival exit by holding a welcome board with your name and transfer to Crescent Moon Lake, need 40 minutes driving, 20KM.

The Mysterious Crescent lake which its name derives from the crescent moon shaped by the small pool of spring water between two large sand dunes. Here you could slide down on the Sounding sand dunes to see if you can hear the sound from sand dunes. Mingsha Shan - Echoing-Sand Mountain
Then later your guide will take you to ride camel to the desert and do camping there(Camel riding is a must-try activity in desert area, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery on the back of camel and will be one hour riding). We will have barbecuing dinner and watch sunset on the sounding sand dunes and enjoy the tranquil and beautiful starry sky .

Day 2

Get up early to enjoy the magnificent sunrise on the desert and after desert breakfast, you will come out from desert by motorbike and meet your guide at outside then will takes you to the Dunhuang city center and check in the hotel first.

Mogao Caves
After the lunch, we will visit Mogao Grottoes, which were constructed over a millennium ago, from the 4th to 14th centuries. The caves are also known as the Thousand Buddha Caves has two distinctions of being one of the most notable grottoes in China as well as the best-preserved treasure house of Buddhist art, sutras, murals and sculptures in the world.

At the end, your guide will escort you to your hotel. There is a night show option in Dunhuang. It is the ' Silk Road and Flower Rain ', The classical Chinese dance show tells a touching tragic (fictional) story of a talented fresco artist working within the Mogao Caves, whose beautiful daughter is kidnapped by bandits and sold into slavery as a dancer.
