Discover the charm of San Juan de Luz, one of Aquitaine’s most picturesque towns, on a cultural and culinary walking tour. Begin at Les Halles market, where colorful stalls showcase local produce, then stroll through the old town’s narrow streets lined with traditional Basque houses. Visit the Church of Saint John the Baptist, site of King Louis XIV’s wedding to Infanta Maria Theresa of Spain.
Continue along the fishing harbor, witnessing the town’s seafaring heritage, and enjoy views of the Basque French coast. Learn local legends and taste the famous Saint Jean de Luz macarons, a sweet emblem of the town’s culture.

Meeting point: Right in front of the main gate of Saint-Jean-de-Luz Market (15 Av. Joachim Labrouche). The guide will be holding a lanyard with the company’s name. Please kindly note that the market has three different entrances — make sure you are at the one with the clock and the fountain.
