Depart from San Sebastian along the coastal towns of Getaria and Zarautz, where the Atlantic breeze and sea-facing vineyards shape the unique character of Getaria Txakoli DO.
Stroll through Getaria’s harbor and Old Town, then visit a txakolindegi (winery) to see grape-to-glass production, including steep-slope viticulture, harvest, pressing, and fermentation. Enjoy a guided tasting of different txakoli styles paired with a local Cantabrian aperitif.
