We depart from Vitoria at 9:30 to begin a walking tour of Bilbao’s Old Town, visiting iconic spots such as El Arenal, Plaza Nueva, the Arriaga Theatre, and La Ribera Market, where you will learn how a medieval town became an industrial and financial powerhouse in the late 19th century, and how the estuary and its bridges shape the city’s urban identity.
At 13:00, we enter the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao with an audio guide to admire its striking architecture and contemporary collections, a symbol of the city’s reinvention since the 1990s. At 14:30, we begin the return journey to Vitoria.
