Please provide your accommodation details when booking so we can confirm your pickup location and time. • Marrakech Airport: If you’re arriving by flight, we can arrange a convenient pickup at the airport. Please share your flight details to ensure timely arrival. • Meeting Point in Marrakech: If you prefer, you can meet our guide at cafe France or a central location. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. • Pickup Time: • Pickup will be between 08:00am-08:30am, depending on your location. You’ll receive an exact time via email or message the day before departure. • Late Arrival: • If you are running late, please contact our guide immediately using the provided contact number. We may need to adjust the departure time, but we cannot guarantee the schedule will be delayed for more than 15 minutes. • Special Requests: • If you have any specific pickup requirements (e.g., accessibility needs), please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate. • Confirmation: • A final confirmation email or message with your exact pickup time and location will be sent 24 hours before departure. What to expect
You will trek with a local English-speaking guide, a local cook, and mules to carry your luggage.
This is a challenging walk rather than a climb, and anybody in good physical condition can reach the top.
Make sure you bring your camera; the views from the summit are spectacular. Mount Toubkal 4167m is the highest peak in North Africa, and is a trekking peak involving no climbing but may involve walking in crampons or holding an ice axe for security (November to April). The itinerary has been designed for keen walkers, as the ascent is non-technical, but does involve some easy scrambling and snow slopes.
After the first day spent trekking, you will stay at the refuge where you will spend the night, and enjoy Berber hospitality. After an early breakfast the next day, set off and reach the summit as the sun rises, rewarding you with amazing views. The views from the summit are amazing across the mountains to Marrakech to the north, and the start of the Sahara to the south. During the ascent you will be rewarded with stunning views of the Atlas Mountains, green valleys, and Berber Villages.
