Get ready for 2 full hours of stories about all things haunted in Covington! The tour covers some of the most dark and macabre stories about Covington, ranging from the ghostly hauntings of slaves, ship captains, and Civil War soldiers, to some of the grisliest true crime stories of murders and suicides in the city that will be sure to give you spine-tingling chills and make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up! NOTE: this is a walking tour so be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. The tour route is approximately 2 miles long. This tour is also available as a driving tour for those who are unable to walk two miles. However, this must be arranged with us at the time of your booking (not on the day of your tour), by calling us

Customers should park in the circle at the end or Greenup Street where it dead-ends at the Ohio river. Meet your guide at the John Roebling statue (pictured) right next to the circle. If the parking spots are full in the circle, park on the side of Greenup Street.

    Roebling Suspension Bridge

    Meet your guide at the John Roebling statue (pictured) right next to the circular parking lot where Greenup Street dead-ends at the Ohio River. The statue is right next to the circular parking lot. (On the opposite side of the circular lot is the Roebling Bridge)

    Our second stop will be George Rogers Clark Park, where you will view the statue of Steamboat Captain Mary Greene, and learn about her ghostly appearances to ship captains and crew members on the Ohio River.

    You will view BB Riverboats, former site of the Newport Army Barracks during the Civil War. And you will learn about one couple's terrifying encounter with the ghosts of long-dead soldiers.

    Our fourth stop will be at the Thomas Carneal mansion, the oldest house in Covington. You will learn about a gruesome suicide and the hauntings of "the Grey Lady", perhaps the most famous ghost in the city.

    We will visit the old Booth Memorial Hospital, where local police had a terrifying, ghostly encounter, and where some residents today still report ghostly encounters with nurses. And you'll be shocked to discover what's in the morgue!

    We will visit the Baker-Hunt House, former home of Dr. William Hunt, his wife Margaretta Baker, and their daughter Katie. You will learn about the terrible tragedy that befell the family in this house, the seances that took place here, and the ghostly appearances that have occurred on the property ever since.

    We will visit Molly Malone's Irish pub, formerly the old Hermes Building, where you will learn about a grisly double murder that took place here, along with some of the ghostly encounters that servers and bartenders still experience to this day. Stick around for a pint after the tour ends, or follow your guide back to the tour starting point. The choice is yours!
