Learn about Okinawa’s seafood culture before cycling into the lively Makishi Public Market. Here, enjoy a guided market exploration followed by a hands-on sushi making workshop where you prepare and taste your own creations. This tour combines local history, culture, and cuisine into one unforgettable experience.
Note: The sushi making workshop will be conducted when there are at least 5 participants. If the minimum number is not met, the tour date may be rescheduled, or the workshop will be replaced with an “Okinawan Food Culture Experience.”

Meet us at our e-CHARITY shop nearby the Makishi Monorail station. It's a 1 min walk from Makishi Monorail station.

Please meet at the store near Makishi Monorail Station. 1 minute walk from Makishi Monorail Station. We will pick up our electric bicycles and give a brief information session so that everyone can enjoy a safe ride.

Travelers can visit Ameku-gu Shrine, one of the Ryukyu Eight Shrines. Here, they will learn about Okinawa’s spiritual traditions and enjoy a peaceful cultural stop.

At Tomari Iyumachi Fish Market, travelers will see a wide variety of freshly landed fish and seafood. They will learn about Okinawa’s fishing culture and observe the bustling local market atmosphere.

Travelers will explore the colorful Makishi Public Market with a local guide. They will discover Okinawan ingredients and specialties, and then join a hands-on sushi making experience to create and taste their own sushi.
