Arrive in Addis Ababa early in the morning. Welcome to Ethiopia! Or we welcome you at the hotel or guesthouse in Addis Ababa
You will take the morning flight to Goba (Bale NP), Upon arrival you will have an excursion tour to Sanetti plateau to see the afro alpine moor land and endemic Ethiopian wolf. Due to the altitude, plant diversity here is low. However, one of the notable plant species is the giant lobelia found from 3,100 to 4,377m growing to a maximum height of 12m. On the plateau stands Tulu Dimtu at 4,377m. This is the second tallest mountain in Ethiopia, and the tallest in Bale.
After breakfast, you will drive to Dinisho which is the hadequarter of Bale Natinal park to have a leisurely hike, possibly spotting two endemic mammals that frequent the area, Menelik's Bushbuck and the Mountain Nyala. Birds in this area include the Blue-Winged Goose, the Spot-Breasted Lapwing, the Abyssinian Long Claw, the Wattled Ibis, the Black- Headed Siskin, Rouget’s Rail, and numerous other species then drive back to Goba.
Today you will fly back to Addis Ababa and Up on arrival you will explore Addis Ababa, by visiting the National Museum (home of the remains of the famous hominid fossil, “Lucy”), Entoto Mountain and the largest open-air market called Merkato and one of the big Orthodox Churches. A colourful mix of modern and traditional city life You will be invited to a farewell dinner at one of the best traditional restaurants in Addis where you taste variety of Ethiopian meals and watch the folkloric dancers of the Ethiopian people.
