The journey takes you to the newly established Chebera Churchura National Park through the green hills of Chida, located on the west side of the central Omo-Gibbe Basin. Currently, the Chebera Churchura National Park is the least disturbed ecosystem for African elephants and buffalo in Ethiopia. It as great Nature habitat to be explored on food and in the car.

- Early in the morning you will fly to Jimma and upon arrival you will meet the crew and drive to Chebera Churchura National Park through the green hilly landscape of Chida, located on the western side of the central Omo Gibe basin, in between the Dawro zone and Konta zone in South West Ethiopia Peoples' Region in the southwest of Ethiopia. - Chebera Churchura is a small town in the Kaffa province. Kaffa is the homeland of Coffee, It was here where coffee discovered by a shepherd named Kaldis then planted everywhere in the world. It has a very nice local marked - You can relax after the long drive and enjoy a sundowner in the lodge, with a wonderful view over the valley below.
- You explore the still untouched and beautiful landscape and wildlife by drive and walking. In the protected forest areas and open grasslands, You will be able to spot herds of African Elephants, Cape Buffalos and Waterbucks. - At Lake Bulo in a breathtaking landscape, we see Hippopotamus. Mammals that are also found in Churchura National Park are servals, greater kudus, colobus monkeys and vervet monkeys. There are lions and leopards, but they are very difficult to spot. - Currently, Chebera Churchura national park appears to be the least disturbed ecosystem for the African elephant and Buffalo in the country.
- Today you will take the day easy by driving and game viewing towards Shoshuma and Halala Kela to discover the other parts of the untouched park with great wilderness. So far, 37 larger mammals and 237 species of birds have been recorded in the different habitats (Highland & Riverine Forest and savanna and bush lands) of the park. White- winged cliff chat, banded-barbet, wattled ibis, black-headed forest Oriole and thick billed Raven are endemic birds for the country. The pool before an impressive waterfall offers the opportunity to swim. - At the end of an adventure’s day enjoy at the lodge the great view and the sunset over the jungle below
- After an early breakfast you drive to Jimma airport for your flight to Addis Ababa. In the evening, farewell dinner at a traditional restaurant with local dancers and musicians representing some of the country’s ethnic groups
