On average we see way more dolphins and are closer to us than any other dolphin tour you will look from very close how fishermen operate. There are usually no other dolphin-watching boats (or a maximum of 2-3 of them) and we use a respectful approach towards dolphins (turn off the engine while being close) with a small speedboat for a more adventurous experience.
If we don't see dolphins you can join us free of charge on the next tour. At the end of the tour, you will have the opportunity to see the old town from the sea perspective.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY:
- Our skipper will pick you up at the VERY END of the pier at the time the activity starts. SEE BELOW THE STARTING TIMES BY PERIOD.
- The skipper will send you a message on WhatsApp (or email) the evening before the tour starts so you will have his phone number in case you need it in the morning.
- If you haven't selected any pick up location please send me your approximate location by email or WhatsApp and I will send you the nearest pick-up location.
- The boat is not located on the pier and the skipper will come just to pick you up.
- On both sides of every our speedboat it's written "Goat a Boat" (our second brend) or "Andana Sea Tours" so you can easily recognize us.
- I recommend to bring sunglasses, long sleeves and/or a wind jacket and a beach towel because it's cold on the sea early in the morning and the cushions on the boat can be humid.

What to expect
It takes place a few miles offshore near the fishing boats early in the morning. We allow you to live this unique experience intimately with our private (max. 12 persons) tour. After 20 to 30 minutes of navigation, we’ll approach the fishing boats while they are pulling out the fishing nets. The dolphins get excited by the huge amount of fish and they are circling the net trying to grab some fish. This is the reason why they are so numerous during this tour and it’s very common to see dolphins jumping and passing close or even under our boat. The fishing boats are also attracting other marine life like tunas and numerous seagulls.
The skipper will explain the most interesting facts about dolphins and how the fishing boats work. While you are watching the dolphins and fishermen at work the sun will rise behind the hills making this experience even more memorable. After approximately 45 to 60 minutes we’ll head back and you will enjoy the view of the charming Rovinj old town from the sea. If we don’t see dolphins, you can join us for free on the next tour.

- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
