Meeting and pickup
Pickup is included for all guests. Departures start around 6:30 AM from Punta Cana hotels and around 7:30 AM from Bayahibe hotels. The bus collects travelers from Punta Cana first, then from Bayahibe before heading to Los Haitises. Exact pickup time and location will be confirmed the day before the excursion.

Arrive at Caño Hondo Eco Lodge around 10:00 AM, in a small group of maximum 14 travelers, for an intimate and eco-friendly experience at the edge of Los Haitises National Park. Enjoy a warm Dominican welcome with a light breakfast snack featuring fresh local products, tropical fruits, sandwiches and coffee, before relaxing in the famous natural swimming pools and cascading waterfalls surrounded by lush tropical forest. Take time to swim in crystal-clear natural springs, explore the serene setting, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of this hidden paradise. Around noon, savor a traditional Dominican buffet lunch with local dishes such as chicken, rice, and plantains — a perfect blend of authentic flavors and nature. After lunch, continue your adventure with a private boat tour through the magnificent Los Haitises National Park. Board your exclusive motorboat, a traditional Dominican-style speedboat used for local excursions — fast-looking but navigating smoothly for a comfortable and safe ride. Enjoy this small-group experience with a maximum of 14 travelers, ensuring privacy and personalized attention. Sail across the calm bay surrounded by lush green cliffs and explore the park’s unique ecosystems. Glide through the mangrove forests, home to tropical birds and marine life, then visit two spectacular caves adorned with ancient Taino rock paintings that tell the story of the island’s first inhabitants.
