What to expect

We start our tour from a Barceloneta beach where you will enjoy a beautiful coast. This is one of Barcelona's oldest and best-loved beaches. It is thought to have inspired Miguel de Cervantes as the setting for the fight between Don Quixote and the Knight of the White Moon.

Next we’ll go to the Old Port of Barcelona. It was built as part of an urban renewal program prior to the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Before this, it was a run-down area of empty warehouses, railroad yards, and factories.

We’ll stop in front of the Columbus monument. It was constructed for the World's Fair Barcelona in 1888 in honor to Columbus first voyage to the Americas. And also you will see a charming famous boulevard – La Rambla. After we’ll move to the central Parc de la Ciutadella, historical landmark of the great expansion of the city.

After we will go all the way up till the Arc of Triumph and going back to the office through the Olimpic Port. This project was carried out following the 1992 Olympics, opening he city to the sea, and this was the area which hosted the Sailing Competitions during the Games. Here are located the famous skyscrapers: Mapfre and Hotel Arts. Both towers are measuring exactly the same, reaching 154 meters in height, and are literaly placed one in front of each other. You'll see them from anywhere in Barcelona,  because of its monumentality and impressive modern architecture.

The rest of the tour we will spend passing close to the new modern area - Forum. You will see one of the most beautiful skyscraper in Barcelona - Agbar Tower. It is one of the most prominent phallic architecture around the world. Torre Agbar is intended to recall the shape of a geyser rising into the air. It was inspired by Montserrat, a mountain near Barcelona. A defining feature of the building is its nocturnal illumination. It has 4,500 LED devices that allow generation of luminous images on its façade. At night this building became as christmas three for citizens.
