After finishing your historical tour of Seoul, you might feel the need to relax in nature. So how about heading to Gapyeong? Unlike busy Seoul, Gapyeong is a quiet, nature-friendly countryside area.
Given the time, we can visit about three places. Once you choose your favorites, I’ll help you create an itinerary that suits you best.
This isn’t just a simple driving service — I’ll be going in with you, guiding you and taking great photos. It’s a much more comfortable and relaxed experience compared to a group tour.
We will text you on WhatsApp few days before the tour
We will guide you through Nami Island, a place that offers different charms in all four seasons. The island is especially beautiful during the cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons, and its snow-covered landscape has a completely different charm of its own. We’ll go in together and follow the most efficient route so you can enjoy the tour smoothly.
These rail bikes were built on an old railway line that was once actually in use. Escape the busy city and enjoy the beautiful nature of Gapyeong as you ride along the tracks. Most of the course is flat, so it’s not difficult at all — even one person pedaling is enough.
This is one of the most beautiful traditional Korean gardens. During cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons, the scenery is truly breathtaking (though it’s not recommended in winter). You’ll find rare flowers you’ve probably never seen before, as well as a thousand-year-old tree. I’ll help you take some great photos while we’re there.
Alpacas need to live in herds in mountainous areas to survive, so in many countries it’s actually hard to see them. Korea has lots of mountains, which is why alpaca farms like this exist. At 10 a.m., dozens of alpacas come running toward visitors. You can feed them and take photos, and afterwards, you can explore a small zoo as well.
Korean strawberries become sweeter and larger in winter. Here, you can pick incredibly fresh strawberries and enjoy them right on the spot. In winter, I recommend this experience over visiting the arboretum. There’s also an option to join a jam-making program.
The valley stays frozen because it gets little sunlight, the temperatures stay below freezing, and the shallow water freezes very easily. Even if it melts a bit during the day, it freezes again at night.
The view from the peak of Seoraksan is one of the best in all of Korea. It’s incredibly high, but don’t worry. you can take a cable car to the top. I’ll show you Seoraksan covered in beautiful autumn colors or cherry blossoms.
