Our Hatcher Pass Wildlife and Scenic Tour is the perfect day trip for travelers who want to see authentic Alaska — up close and personal — without venturing too far from the city.
We begin with a short tour of Anchorage and then onto a scenic drive along the Glenn Highway.
At the Reindeer Farm in Palmer, you’ll have the rare chance to feed and interact with reindeer, moose, alpacas, and more. This hands-on experience is a guest favorite and a memory you’ll never forget!
Next, we'll head up into the mountains to the stunning Hatcher Pass, Depending on the season, you may see snow-dusted peaks, wildflowers, or golden tundra — and enjoy a peaceful walk near Summit Lake or along the Little Susitna River.
Stop in Palmer, a charming Alaskan town where you can grab a bite for lunch.
We’ll finish the day with a scenic walk through nature where well-maintained, flat trails wind through forested landscapes with the occasional moose sighting and drop you off back at your hotel or lodging.

Pick up from your hotel or lodging in Anchorage. Guided city tour through Historic Downtown, followed by a short drive to the Alaska Railroad station Anchorage Depot where we will stop at the Ulu Factory and Ship Creek salmon stream.
