Departing from Marrakech: A private 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga. This 3 day desert trip departs daily from Marrakech and is our most popular desert tour. Designed for the traveler eager to explore deep into the Moroccan Sahara Desert and who doesn’t mind driving long but fascinating hours with plenty of comfort stops. You will have an amazing time touring the Desert and Merzouga with not a moment of boredom. The landscape changes dramatically, beginning with the fertile Haouz plains of Marrakech and the high Atlas Mountains to the oases and valleys, then on to the rocky plateaus and the unbelievable Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Just make sure you bring your camera because you’ll see sites you’ve never seen before, sites you simply couldn’t imagine in your wildest dreams!

The departure takes place at 6:00 am from your accommodation in Marrakech, we drive along the way crossing the High Atlas Mountains where we will be able to see several Berber villages. There are relaxation and photo stops of many beautiful landscapes and site visits, including the highest point in Tichka Pass (2660m), Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a 16th-century fortress classified by UNESCO as a human international patrimony.

2Ouarzazate
Our next stop is The famous Atlas Studios. Many big movies turned up there, such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Prince of Persia,..etc, the Ouarzazat City (the world of cinema). Amridil Kasbah in Skoura Oasis, the city of roses Kalaat Megouna, diner and overnight stay in a hotel in Boumalen Dades gorges.

After breakfast, the journey starts with a visit to Dades Gorges and valley To see stunning views that capture minds and spend a beautiful time taking pictures, then a drive to Tinghir to visit Todra Gorges Here, too, there are stunning views of the rocky mountains and Gorges that are worth seeing and taking photos continue to Merzouga desert crossing Tinjdad, Erfoud, Rissani reaching the Erg Chebbi, refreshing with mint tea, camel ride for 1 hour and a half crossing sand dunes to the camp, enjoy diner, campfire with local music under the bright stars, free time and overnight stay in your private tent.

5Merzouga
an early wake up for sunrise, after breakfast, camel ride back to the camp then drive to Marrakech using a different road of Alnif, Tazarin, N'kob, Draa Valley, Ait stolen mountains to Ouarzazat, drop off at your accommodation in Marrakech by the evening.
