It is an enormous painting 4,6mt high and 8,8mt long realized with tempera & oil on a chalk preparation, different from the technique used at the time.
The church of Santa Maria delle Grazie is just in 20 minutes walking distance from Duomo.

You will also visit the internal part of the church and the Bramante's cloyster on some occasions, if they are open to public and there are no religious celebrations. Admire the facade of the church Santa Maria delle Grazie with a professional guide. It is also possible sometimes to enter inside the church during the tour (in case there are no religious ceremonies at that moment). Kindly note that the original Last Supper painting is not inside the church, but in the building near the church and you will see the original painting even if the church is closed.
