First, visit the small historic town of Ston, located at the very beginning of the Peljesac Peninsula. With its impressive medieval walls stretching for over 5 kilometers (the longest in Europe), Ston once served as an important fortification of the Dubrovnik Republic. Ston is also known for its ancient salt pans, which have been in operation for hundreds of years, and its world-renowned oysters grown in the crystal-clear waters of nearby Mali Ston Bay. Whether you choose to simply stretch your legs and explore the town’s narrow streets, or also enjoy the local seafood in one of the family-run restaurants after wine tasting, Ston is a place that offers both cultural heritage and authentic local cuisine.

3Peljesac Peninsula
Next, immerse yourself in the winemaking heritage of the Peljesac Peninsula. Famous for its robust red varietals like Plavac Mali and the legendary Dingac, Peljesac offers a rich blend of history, culture, and stunning landscapes. Visit three renowned wineries, meet passionate winemakers, and hear fascinating stories about the centuries-old traditions that have shaped this region.
