Due to the remoteness of our travels, this trip is not for the faint hearted, a high level of fitness is required and some level of backpacking experience should be had prior, We will be self supported during our time trekking across the tundra.

Considering flights arrive in the afternoon we will all meet at our accommodations and have a happy hour to meet fellow travelers and go over the itinerary for the trip. Transportation from the airport to the lodge is provided. Dinner will be a simple home cooked meal at the lodge.
The tour will end in SIsimiut where folks are able to fly out at their leisure
Folks will either fly in a day or two before. Considering flights arrive in the afternoon we will all meet at our accommodations and have a happy hour to meet fellow travelers and go over the itinerary for the trip. Transportation from the airport to the lodge is provided. Dinner will be a simple home cooked meal at the lodge.
In the morning after breakfast we will head out to the Russell Glacier, where a local guide will lead us on a breathtaking tour of the expansive ice sheet. The afternoon will be spent dividing and packing group gear, food, and personal food before we head out of town to enjoy dinner at Restaurant Roklubben, a fine dining experience in the middle of the Artic.
We embark on the Artic Circle Trail where we spend the next 9 nights and 10 days. We will be hiking together throughout day and stopping for proper lunch and dinner breaks. Weather is unpredictable our schedule may be altered and change often. Being adaptable is a must. We will attempt to hike an average of 20-25km a day (12-15 miles) We will have zero cellular service or access to direct emergency care. WW
We will take a slow morning where a breakfast spread is provided at your leisure, folks will have the morning and early afternoon as down time to explore the town as they would like. We will then venture out as a group for evening dinner.
Weather dependent, we will either be taking in the coastline in kayaks or taking in the views from one of the mountaintops above. After exploring the surrounding Sisimut area we will embark into town for our final meal together around traditional Greenlandic cuisine.
After breakfast we say our goodbyes as some will hop on flights to various parts of the islandd or back home. We will check out of our accommodations and the trip will be complete.
