Traveler pickup is offered. We pick up any hotels within the 3rd ring of Chengdu city. You will be collected an additional fee RMB 100 for the hotel located outside the 3rd ring road. You will be collected an additional fee RMB 200 for Shuangliu airport pickup or drop-off. You will be collected an additional fee RMB 300 for Tianfu airport pickup or drop-off. The cost would increase during Chinese public holidays, such as National Day, Spring Festival, and Labor Day. *Due to the large number of tourists at Mount Emei, please ensure that guests depart from the hotel on time in the morning. If departure is delayed, there may be long queues for the cable car, which could disrupt the itinerary. We will charge for any overtime fees incurred for transportation and tour guide services due to this delay.

    Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo)

    The Leshan Giant Buddha is a 71-metre (233 ft) tall stone statue, built between 713 and 803 (during the Tang dynasty), depicting Maitreya. It is carved out of a cliff face of Cretaceous red bed sandstones that lies at the confluence of the Min River and Dadu River in the southern part of Sichuan province in China, near the city of Leshan. The stone sculpture faces Mount Emei, with the rivers flowing below its feet. It is the largest and tallest stone Buddha statue in the world, and it is by far the tallest pre-modern statue in the world. In the afternoon, explore the Oriental Buddha Park, housing thousands of Buddha statues from Sichuan, including the reputedly world's longest reclining Buddha, spanning 170 meters.
