As we know, Naples has a history as the great capital of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. That is, of all southern Italy. The splendour of the succession of Bourbon dynasties marks its architecture, especially in the monumental area, denoted 'The Royal Naples'. The great Via Toledo, today a shopping boulevard, all the way to the Mergellina promenade; represent the baroque area. Surrounded by the ancient Baroque palaces, the old shopping arcade dedicated to King Umberto I, the two castles: the Maschio Angioino and the Castel dell'Ovo, from the Angevin period. From the San Carlo Theatre and the imposing Piazza Plebiscito with its Royal Palace. A symbol of the city in the world and a monarchical representative square in the royal period.
Walking around and learning about the history of that era will take you back to the ancient splendours of the Kingdom of Naples, known in the 18th century as one of the most developed and emancipated kingdoms in all of Europe.

A tour not to be missed for those who want to admire the noble and elegant past of Bourbon Naples. Our starting point will be Piazza Municipio, where we will admire Bernini's Fountain of Neptune and the Castel Nuovo, known as the Maschio Angioino. The famous castle of Angevine origin.

We will then visit the city's most representative Belle Epoque sites: the Umberto Gallery and the Saint Carlo Theatre. Then we will visit the Royal Palace of Naples and the majestic Piazza del Plebiscito from the outside. A representative square in the royal era and today a symbol of the city in the world, it is always used for concerts, shows and gathering events of the Neapolitan people and beyond. There will be no shortage of coffee breaks at Bar Gambrinus, the most historic café in Naples, which has distinguished itself in history as a famous literary café.

A well-known Neapolitan shopping street, today it is the nerve and commercial center of the city, but it was once classified as the street of royal parades and aristocracy. Peculiar is its elegance that contrasts with the working-class Spanish quarters behind it. A Spanish architectural feature that has always distinguished the city in its interplay of contrasts. We will stroll along this street and then go up to visit part of the neighborhoods.

We will end our tour on the Caracciolo Promenade. We will be able to admire the meragìviglia of the Gulf of Naples overlooking Vesuvius until we reach Castel dell'Ovo. An enchanting landscape area, the Promenade is a pregnant part of our culture and the beauty of the city.
