    This tour offers an unforgettable birding and wildlife experience along the Zambezi River. The vast river system hosts many common bird species such as the African Fish-Eagle and Pied Kingfisher. Many rare and sought-after species often occur here. Star birds include the elusive African Finfoot, White-backed Night-Heron, Half-collared Kingfisher, Rock Pratincole, and African Skimmer (seasonal migrants). Search for the spectacular Pel’s Fishing-owl, rare raptors (Osprey, Banded Snake-Eagle, Bat Hawk, Dickinson’s Kestrel), and the rare Brown-necked Parrot. Wildlife sightings are easy from the boat, including healthy populations of hippos and crocodiles. You may also spot mammals like African bush elephants, Cape bushbucks, Impalas, and Waterbucks drinking at the river.
