    2. An emblematic and internationally renowned point of reference for skate culture. It was one of the first skater bars in Spain and is famous for being a meeting place for many punk-rock, hip hop, trap, metal, and rock'n'roll people from Catalonia. Our third bar will be ....surprise..., which is an iconic piece of history in Barcelona's nightlife scene. Opened in 1820 in Raval, the bar is said to be Barcelona’s very first bar and everyone from Picasso, Dalì to Hemingway is rumoured to have been a regular at some point in this establishment’s long and louche history. Paradoxically, while the grime on the chandeliers thickens, the floor tiles become even tattier and the cobwebs in every corner spread further, this bar appeal only seems to grow. Enjoy drinking in the sense of history as much as the venue’s famed absinthe. As pimps, prostitutes and thieves cavort right outside you are very much in the heart of the sleazy underbelly of Barcelona nightlife, barely changed from the 19th century. Woody Allen chose to shoot a scene from Vicky Cristina Barcelona right here. The last video from Rosalia was filmed there.

    6. Each bar in Barcelona has its own unique magic, and Bar this one is no exception. It is a transformed piece of the city's history and is a key meeting place for the people of Barcelona. Its a primarily youthful meeting spot with subdued lighting, rap or electronic music, and economical prices. It is the classic last bar before heading off to dance at the club and is likely the least expensive bar in the city.

    7. Our last bar will be Ocaña, the most important LGBTIQ+ bar. It is an impressive and enormous historic building that has preserved its original elements. Entering Ocaña is almost like embarking on a small journey back in time that takes us to Belle Époque with its golden columns and furniture, to the antiques markets of half of Europe and even to some of the best design studios (the lighting is the work of the Lumières Studio in Paris. After getting lost in the restaurant and cafe, we will climb some stairs to the ground floor where we will find the Club and Apotheke, a very special cocktail bar. It is an experience for the senses and an original journey without leaving Barcelona. Ocaña is named in honor of the artist José Pérez Ocaña, who lived for 12 years in the nearby house. José Pérez Ocaña, better known as Ocaña, was a performer, artist, painter, and LGBT rights activist in Spain. Ocaña, who was an icon of resistance to the Franco dictatorship.

We will finish our tour at Plaza Reial, one of the most famous nightlife squares in Barcelona. At the end of the tour, I will give you a ticket to the historic nightclub: A small, dark and intimate club located near Las Ramblas in the heart of Barcelona. It is a eclectic place frequented by locals. There is only one room where you will find the dance floor, a long bar, and a small stage. The music policy varies greatly depending on the night of the week. Some evenings of the week, you will find bands playing, DJ sets of rock music, or electronic, disco, funk music, it will be a SURPRISE! (the entrance fee to the disco will be only 2 euros at the entrance)
