From Ketapang Harbor, our team will warmly welcome you and take you directly to the hiking basecamp to begin your adventure.

Getting ready and prepare for your hike to Ijen Crater. Upon arrival at the basecamp, your local guide will give you a short briefing and explain the activities ahead. All necessary equipment for the hike will be provided, including: - headlamp - gas mask - raincoat (if needed) Your guide will accompany you throughout the trek, ensuring a safe, informative, and supportive experience as you explore the beauty of Ijen by night.

The hike to the crater rim takes about 1.5 to 2 hours through a quiet forest trail. From there, you'll descend into the crater with your guide to see the rare blue flames up close. You'll also witness local miners at work, carrying sulfur stones by hand from deep inside the volcano. Afterward, head up to the sunrise point to enjoy the early morning light and take photos with help from your guide. Once the sun is up and you've had time to take in the views, you'll return to basecamp.

Begin the scenic journey back to Bali, retracing your steps through East Java's beautiful countryside. Arrive back at Gilimanuk Harbor and board the ferry back to Bali.
