Looking to fill something from your bucket list? This is the tour for you! This one hour helicopter tour gives you a birds eye view of The Whitsunday Islands, and The Great Barrier Reef.

First we head out past South Molle Island Island as we approach Whitsunday Island where we take in the natural beauty of Whitehaven Beach, and the swirling sands of Hill Inlet.

We then set out to visit one of the seven natural wonders of the world, The Great Barrier Reef. We'll be seeing some of it's most famous reefs, including Hook Reef, Bait Reef and Hardy Reef, with it's world Famous Heart Reef.

As we head back home, we'll fly past Hayman Island and Hook Island and finish up with some more views of the Molle Island Group, with Whitsunday Island and Long Island in the distance.

    As we fly past Mount Rooper and over Shute Harbour, the gateway to The Whitsundays, you'll be likely to see a ferry or two on their way out to the islands. Additionally, you'll see some of the smaller reefs and islands that surround the coast.

    The first of the big Islands we pass by will be South Molle Island. Looking a bit further to the south and you'll also spot Long Island.

    Whitsunday Island is the largest island in the Whitsundays, covering an area of 275.08 km² In addition to it's magnificent fringing reefs and beaches. Whitsunday Island boasts some of most beautiful scenery in the world, with the pure white sands of Whitehaven Beach and the twisting blue waters of Hill Inlet, both of which are just around the corner.

  • Whitehaven Beach (Pass by)

    Whitehaven Beach is best recognised by it's brilliant white sands and turquoise waters, thought to have been brought to the beach over millions of years by prevailing sea currents. Across from Whitehaven Beach, on Haslewood Island you'll also find Chalkie's Beach, with it's fringing reef system home to a variety of fish and sea turtles Whitehaven Beach is about as picturesque as they get, so make sure you have your camera ready!

    Just north of Whitehaven Beach we'll see Hill Inlet, which is best viewed from the seat of a helicopter

    As we begin to head out to the reef, you'll be able to take in a bit more of Whitsunday Island, before heading out past Border Island. The first of the major reefs you'll see will be Hook Reef.

    As we return to Shute Harbor, we'll take in some more of the Great Barrier Reef, with aerial views of Hardy Reef and Bait Reef.

    Hayman Island is the northern most island of the Whitsunday Islands, and is home to the popular Hayman Island Resort. The island also boasts stunning beaches, reefs, cliffs and mountain look-outs.

    Hook Island, while mostly uninhabited, has many popular attractions including Stonehaven Bay, Butterfly Bay, Nara Inlet, Macona Inlet, and the Hook Island Marine Park, which is filled with coral reefs. mangrove forests, seagrass beds and beautiful beaches. As we fly over, keep an eye out for the surrounding reefs arrangement of marine life such as turtles, dolphins and dugongs.
