These intimate and unique workshop seek to inspire and invigorate.
We meet on the green in Bunhill Fields Burial Ground. You will need a notebook, at least one pen and an umbrella (just in case!)
We finish at St Giles' Church, Cripplegate
We meet in Bunhill Fields cemetery, a short walk from Old Street underground. We are introduced to the grave of William Blake and use his visionary poetry as a prompt for our first writing exercise.
Next, we head to The Barbican, discover street poetry and create our own collaborative response.
We then follow in the footsteps of Daniel Defoe's Moll Flanders, reading about her criminal adventures in and around Smithfields.
Our final stop is St Giles' Cripplegate, where our exercises are brought together for a final piece in the extraordinary surroundings of the church, resting place of Defoe and John Milton
