Southern Cultural Immersion proudly operates on the land of the Kaurna people, the Traditional Owners of the Adelaide region.

In this experience, our local Aboriginal guide will teach you all there is to know about boomerangs. Their uses, construction and types will be explained, furthering a deeper understanding of this ancient tool. You will even get the opportunity to learn the proper Boomerang throwing techniques and show off your skills!

We invite you to explore our authentic gift shop and art gallery at the conclusion of your experience.

What to expect

In this workshop, your First Nations guide will share knowledge on traditional Boomerangs, a tool used in the everyday lives of Aboriginal Australians. You will then be guided on the proper techniques of Boomerang Throwing and practice your skills to perfection.
