Experience Zagreb like a local by joining one of Croatia’s favorite traditions — the coffee ritual. During the tour, we’ll take a break to enjoy coffee the Croatian way: slowly, while chatting about everything from everyday life to local legends. It’s more than just a drink — it’s a chance to relax, connect, and truly feel the city’s rhythm.
As we explore Zagreb’s medieval Upper Town and elegant Lower Town, you’ll uncover hidden corners, centuries-old landmarks, and sweeping views that showcase the city’s timeless charm. From the colorful tiles of St. Mark’s Church to the leafy paths of Zrinjevac Park, this tour weaves together history, storytelling, and culture — just like a perfect cup of coffee shared among friends.

Begin your journey in the Upper Town (Gornji Grad), the medieval heart of Zagreb. Wander through cobblestone streets lined with colorful baroque buildings and uncover centuries-old landmarks such as the Zagreb Cathedral, Stone Gate, and St. Mark’s Church with its iconic tiled roof. Learn about the city’s origins, legends, and local traditions while admiring panoramic views from Lotrščak Tower, where the cannon still fires daily at noon.
☕ Coffee Break — the Croatian Way In the middle of the tour, we’ll pause for a coffee break at one of Zagreb’s charming cafés. Coffee here is more than just a drink — it’s a ritual, a moment to slow down and talk about everything from daily life to politics or local gossip. And in true Croatian fashion, since I’m the one inviting you — coffee is on me.
Lower Town (Donji Grad), where 19th-century architecture and green urban parks reveal Zagreb’s modern charm. Stroll through Zrinjevac Park, a lush oasis surrounded by neoclassical palaces, museums, and galleries. Admire landmarks such as the Croatian National Theatre (HNK), the Art Pavilion, and architectural gems like the Kalina Palace and the city’s first skyscraper, symbols of a period when Zagreb flourished as part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
