This underground tour of the Catacombs takes you deep into the unusual and hidden history of Rome, far below its busy streets and towering monuments, revealing the city’s concealed side.
The itinerary includes some of the most uncommon and mysterious sites of the Eternal City.
A panoramic open-top bus transfers you from the city center to the underground area of the Roman Catacombs. This extensive network of tunnels, stretching beneath the city, once served as both a burial ground and a place of worship for the first Christians in Rome. Accompanied by an expert guide, you will explore these sacred sites and discover their fascinating history.
Depending on the option selected, the experience can be enriched with a guided visit to the Capuchin Crypts or a guided underground tour of the Trevi Fountain District, offering an even deeper insight into Rome’s hidden layers.

Please report at Touristation Aracoeli Office, Piazza Ara Coeli 16 to redeem your voucher. A small fountain is in front of the office. There are signs and orange flags outside. Metro B Colosseo stop is not recommended. Any bus or tram to Piazza Ara Coeli, next to Venice Square.
