Day 1
Marrakech – Tadart-Telouet – Ait Ben Haddou -Tinfou Dunes Desert Camp

Marrakech
Pick up at Marrakech at 7:00 am. We will drive for approximately two hours through the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi ‘n Tichka pass, stopping for photos along the way and stopping to have breakfast.

Ait Ben Haddou
Then we will go in the direction of Ourzazate, where we will visit the UNESCO protected Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. We will have lunch there and then will stop to take picture at the Atlas Film Studios.

Afterwards we will pass through Agdez, many other Berber villages and Draa Valley with its Palmeraie. Then we go to the center of Tinfou village, where we leave our driver. We ride camels to the camp and catch the sunset. We will have tea with the nomads and a little later dinner. Afterwards you enjoy the evening, sitting around the open fireplace and listening to the magic and secrets of authentic Berber music.

Day 2
Tinfou Dunes Desert Camp – Rissani – Merzouga

We will have to go up early in the morning to see the sunrise. It’s an amazing experience due to the silence and quick change of all the shades of Orange. After that we will have breakfast and quit the desert after a beautiful night, spent in typical tents. Afterwards we will visit the village Tamegroute with the pottery kilns.

Departure to Erissani, the palm Mellal, Tazzarine and Alnif through a vast rocky plain. Lunch along the way.

Merzouga Desert
After lunch we will pass through the towns of Arfoud and Rissani in direction to Merzouga, home of Erg Chebbi, the tallest sand dunes in Morocco. We will arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon/early evening, where you will have some time to relax at the swimming pool and to have Berber tea. Around 5:30pm we will ride the camels from the hotel for about one hour and a half through the desert dunes. We will arrive at the Berber tents, have some time to relax, drink Berber tea with nomads at the camp and go into the dunes to watch the sunset. Dinner will be at the camp, followed by music around the open fireplace. Dinner and night are spent at Merzouga luxury desert camp.

Day 3
Merzouga Desert - Erfoud – Todra Gorges - Boumalen Dades

Merzouga Desert
Rise early to catch the sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga before departing for your next destination. As you make your way to Errfoud, you will discover the old fossils, trilobites, ammonites, and other ancient living fossils such as dinosaurs, coral, and shark teeth. Within the road, marvel at the changing desert landscapes and the Tafilalt region’s unique beauty.

Todra River
The route takes you through the striking Todra Gorges, where massive canyon walls tower above. Take a leisurely walk through the gorge, appreciating the sheer scale of the natural formations.
