  St. Peter's Basilica

  St. Peter’s Dome Climb. • The experience continues with access to St. Peter’s Dome, one of the most iconic viewpoints in Rome. • After entering the Dome, you’ll first admire the interior view from above, looking down into the Basilica from a unique balcony beneath Michelangelo’s magnificent cupola. Your guide will explain the symbolism, scale, and engineering behind the Dome before the climb continues upward. • You’ll then ascend to the top of the Dome, using an elevator for part of the journey followed by a series of steps. The final stretch is narrow and steep, adding to the sense of adventure and achievement as you make your way upward. • At the summit, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views over Vatican City and Rome.
