Head directly to Kuala Selangor, a little town on the Selangor River, after being picked up from your accommodation in Kuala Lumpur. There are an incredible amount of fireflies in the town, which makes it great.As you arrive, you'll go to Bukit Melawati, which is home to Fortification Altingsburg. A lighthouse hangs above the hill, surrounded by towering trees. Be especially aware of the surrounding birds, silvered leaf monkeys, and, as of late, macaques. You'll head directly into Kampung Kuantan from an adjacent calculation town for a traditional angle meal at some point recently.You'll board a pontoon and go down the creek to observe the firefly at about 6:30 PM. There's an incredible display of lights shining in unison, brought to you by a plethora of fireflies.A bewitching display of lights like the sparkling lights of a Christmas tree is brought to life by an enormous quantity of fireflies.

1Bukit Melawati
Bukit Melawati, also known as Melawati Hill, is a historical and scenic hill located in Kuala Selangor, Malaysia, about an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur. It is a popular tourist destination known for its historical landmarks, picturesque views, and unique wildlife. One of the main attractions of Bukit Melawati is the ruins of the historic fortress known as Kota Melawati, which dates back to the 18th century when it was built by Sultan Ibrahim Shah of Selangor to defend against Dutch and Bugis invaders. Visitors can explore the remnants of the fortress walls, cannons, and other structures while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding area. Another highlight of Bukit Melawati is the resident silvered leaf monkeys, also known as silver leaf langurs or "beruk" in Malay. These friendly and photogenic monkeys roam freely around the hill and are a delight to visitors, though it's important to observe them from a respectful distance.

Kampung Kuantan Firefly Park is a popular ecotourism destination located in Kuala Selangor, Malaysia.
