From here you can access the Shrine of the Virgin of the Rock, excavated from the rock in the 17th century according to popular tradition, and considered the spiritual heart of the town. Surrounded by white houses, small shops and artisan workshops, the square allows you to understand the evolution of the town from its Andalusian origin to its current configuration. The stop offers time to admire the surroundings, learn about the history of the patron saint of Mijas and enjoy one of the most representative prints of the village before continuing the guided tour.
