  We will start at Plaza de Zocodover, lively heart of Toledo’s historic center and traditional meeting point of the city. From this emblematic space we will enter the network of medieval streets and learn about some of the events, markets and celebrations that have marked Toledo life over the centuries.

• Alcazar de Toledo (Pass by)

  We will contemplate the imposing silhouette of the Alcázar de Toledo, one of the most recognizable buildings in the city. Located in a privileged position on the highest part of the historic center, this former defensive enclave and royal residence currently houses the Army Museum. During the stop we will know the evolution of the building and its importance within the history of Toledo and Spain.

• Catedral Primada de Toledo (Pass by)

  We will access the majestic Primada Cathedral of Toledo, one of the great works of Spanish Gothic architecture. Inside we will discover such outstanding spaces as the Chapel Major, the Choir, the Sacristy, the Transparent and other historical chapels and rooms. The visit allows you to admire centuries of architecture, sculpture and painting, including works linked to masters such as El Greco, Goya, Titian and Caravaggio.

• Plaza del Ayuntamiento (Pass by)

  We will stop at one of Toledo’s most impressive monumental squares, surrounded by some of the city’s most representative buildings. Here we will observe the facades of the Primate Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace and Toledo City Hall, while we learn about the religious, political and administrative function that this space has played throughout history.

• Plaza Padre Juan de Mariana (Pass by)

  We will visit the Plaza Padre Juan de Mariana, presided over by the monumental Church of San Ildefonso, also known as Church of the Jesuits.

• Iglesia de San Ildefonso Jesuitas (Pass by)

  Its characteristic facade is one of the best examples of Toledo’s religious baroque. Located at one of the highest points in the historic center, its towers offer one of the most complete panoramas of the city when access is available.

• Cuevas de Hercules (Pass by)

  We will enter one of the most unique and legendary archaeological spaces in Toledo. The Caves of Hercules preserve remains of an ancient Roman water reservoir that was part of the Toletum water network. In addition to its archaeological value, the place is related to ancient legends about Hercules, the founding of Toledo and mysterious practices of magic and divination.

• Mosque of Christ of the Light (Pass by)

  We will analyze before one of the best preserved jewels of Toledo's Andalusian past. Originally built as Bab al-Mardum Mosque in 999, the building combines elements of Hispanic-Muslim architecture with later Mudejar-style Christian contributions. Its arches, vaults and paintings make this small monument a magnificent testimony to the coexistence of cultures and artistic traditions that characterize Toledo.
